Christine Moscho
Leadership Coaching

Leadership begins with clarity — especially when pressure rises, conversations become difficult, or the situation is no longer straightforward. I support leaders, teams, and senior decision-makers in finding clarity and acting with confidence.

About Christine Moscho

For more than 25 years, I have worked with people in leadership roles — helping them make clear decisions, lead effectively, and create impact in complex contexts.

My work is not about a single method or a fixed formula. It is about understanding what shapes leadership from within: experience, assumptions, strengths, blind spots, and the ability to act with clarity when situations become demanding.

I know the reality of your role

My understanding of leadership is grounded in my own experience in complex organizations:

  • International strategy consulting: I began my career at McKinsey & Company and spent ten years at Simon-Kucher & Partners, most recently as a director — with operational responsibility, demanding clients, and decisions that needed to take effect quickly.
  • Corporate reality: I know leadership within complex hierarchies, multiple interfaces, and competing interests — where decisions need to be aligned, legitimized, and still owned.
  • Small and medium-sized enterprises: I have worked with established structures where leadership is close to day-to-day business, resources are limited, and decisions have a direct impact on people and results.

These experiences shape my work — not as a standard for “proper” leadership, but as practical knowledge of how leadership can work in different contexts, and why inner clarity is essential under pressure.

Leading without formal power

One particularly formative experience was my work on the board of the German Federal Association for Business Coaching (DBVC), first as a board member and later as its first chair. In that role, leadership meant providing direction without formal authority, reconciling different interests, and taking responsibility for decisions under internal and public scrutiny.

This confirmed something essential for me: under pressure, leadership does not come from activity or volume, but from inner clarity and the ability to navigate complexity.

Lead begins inside

Effective leadership starts with inner clarity. I support leaders in clarifying their goals, identifying internal and structural obstacles, and using their strengths consciously.

Good leadership becomes visible when people remain present, capable, and clear — even under pressure. I create the space for that.

Leadership and life

Leadership also affects personal life.

I have been married for more than 25 years and have three adult children. Topics such as presence, priorities, balance, and mutual support are familiar to me not only from client conversations, but also from my own life.

In our work together, these topics can be addressed if they are relevant to your leadership responsibilities. They do not have to be. What matters is what is useful and effective in your current situation.
